Studies of the Effects of N6 - Benzyladenine and Vinyl Sac on the Storage of Carrot

Abstract
This Paper reports of the studies of the effects of N^6-Benzyl adenine and polyethylene sac on the delay Senescence of carrot.
1. 6ppmN^6-Benz©ûyl adenine treatment was the most effective in maintaining the color and slowing deterioration, but this senescence inhibitor was in effective to prevent carrot weights
2. Carotene content found best was in 6 ppm N^6-Benzyl adenine treatment, And that of red ucing sugar was the lowest.
3. Polyethylene sac without hole was effective in long storage pariod, and losses of weight was viriable in each sac treatment. The storage of carrot by means of Polyethylene sac at room temperature showed about 2% losses of weighs after 25 days storage.
4. Destructive causalorganisms are Fusarium spp and Erwinia spp in the storage period.
